Meet our Tour Guides

Brynn Bonne

I’ve grown up in Scotiabank Arena, starting as a baby race champion and now proudly working as a tour guide, all thanks to being the daughter of The Raptor himself. I’m carrying on the family business as a performer myself, having worked with multiple Toronto theatres (The Second City, Toronto Fringe, Lower Ossington Theatre to name a few), and I’m a graduate of the UofT/Sheridan College Theatre & Drama Studies program. I’ve watched my father make fans and Torontonians laugh my whole life and know just how special it is to foster a connection between them and MLSE. I’m so grateful to play a part in this wonderfully Canadian venue and help folks from all over the world get one step closer to their favourite teams!

Gaby Tabak

Get ready to experience the ultimate Toronto sports adventure with me as your guide! Growing up, my favourite player was the legendary Wendel Clark, his grit and determination on the ice inspired me to become the fan I am today (and the reason my lucky number is 17). Now, as your tour guide, I’ll take you behind the scenes of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors. We’ll explore the iconic Scotiabank Arena, learn about the rich history and traditions of both teams, and uncover hidden gems that only a true fan would know. From the thrill of a Leafs game to the excitement of a Raptors matchup and some epic live entertainment events, I’ll share my knowledge and enthusiasm to create an unforgettable experience for you. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just visiting Toronto, my tours offer a unique blend of entertainment, education, and excitement. Can’t wait to show you around!

Holly Lynden

I’m a former sportscaster who is thrilled to now be an unabashed fan. I love to travel and see sports and concerts in different places, so I’m always excited to meet fellow travelers and show them our beautiful arena. When I’m not on duty, I’m working on earning my Pilates certification, watching my two sons play sports, and planning my next trip! Some of my favourite sports moments include interviewing Mario Lemieux and Hayley Wickenheiser, working two Olympic Games (Tokyo and Paris), watching the Leafs’ 1993 playoff run, being in attendance for the Bautista bat-flip HR in 2015, and cheering on my kids, especially my younger son in his first year of hockey, when he spent most of it lying in the middle of the ice.

Jacqueline Cowan

Having grown up in the Toronto area, it was impossible not to become a fan of the Maple Leafs and Raptors, and working as a tour guide at Scotiabank Arena gives me the opportunity to share that passion with fellow fans. My background is in history, so don’t be surprised if you hear about Canadian historical connections to the Maple Leafs during my tours. I love talking about the many banners that hang from our rafters (and hoping for more to come!) and showing off views of the arena that fans don’t normally get to see. Toronto and Scotiabank Arena have so many amazing stories, and I can’t wait to share them with all of you!

Matthew S

Growing up, sports were a huge part of my life, and the Maple Leafs and Raptors were always front and center. Mats Sundin was the name everyone knew in Toronto, and from an early age, I knew the blue and white would be colors I'd wear for life. I bring that same lifelong passion to every tour I lead. My goal is to make each experience fun, engaging, and memorable, because I’m not just a guide, I’m a fan, just like you. Whether we’re standing tall in Maple Leaf Square or Jurassic Park, I want every fan, local or visiting to feel the excitement, energy, and heart of these incredible franchises. Most of all, I want to help you fall in love with Toronto the same way I do.

Michael Smith

My name is Michael Smith, and I’ve been a Leafs fan for as long as I can remember and a Raptors fan since 1995. Although I’m old enough to have been alive when the Leafs last won the Cup, my first Leafs memory was watching them play the California Golden Seals in the late sixties. I’ll never forget the magical season that ended with the Raptors winning the 2019 NBA Championship. I love being a tour guide at Scotiabank Arena because I get to provide memorable experiences for guests, young and old, whether it's stepping into the Raptors locker room or watching the Leafs’ morning skate.

Paul Perantinos

Born and raised in Toronto, I’ve had a lifelong passion for sports and a rewarding career spanning government, non-profit, and corporate sectors. One of my proudest roles was serving as Corporate Secretary and Senior Executive Assistant to the Board at MLSE from 1991 to 2003. I was part of the team that helped transition from historic Maple Leaf Gardens to the then-new Air Canada Centre, now Scotiabank Arena when it opened in 1999. It was an incredibly exciting time filled with unforgettable memories. Today, I’m thrilled to be back at Scotiabank Arena as a Tour Guide, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and showcasing one of the premier sports and entertainment venues in the world. I’m married and the proud father of two grown sons.

Winnie Liao

I was born in Taiwan and spent part of my childhood in Vancouver, nope, I was never a Canucks fan! The Leafs have always been my team. I fell in love with Toronto during a 2018 visit with my sister and soon moved here to pursue a career as an actor and comedian. Growing up on basketball and baseball in Taiwan, Toronto instantly felt familiar, Jeremy Lin on the Raptors, Chien-Ming Wang pitching for the Blue Jays, and now the Leafs just waiting for me to catch my first live NHL game. Being a tour guide feels like performing, every tour is a chance to improv, connect, and make people laugh. People’s laughter is my fuel for dopamine. I’m a Toronto fan through and through. As we say in Taiwan: if you’re the first to do something, you’re Taiwan #1, and I’m proud to say I’m a Taiwan #1 in Toronto!
